Tech Tax Helper Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the Tech Tax Helper app for Android and iPhone provided by WalkTeaming LLC. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

Recordkeeping tool, not professional advice

Tech Tax Helper is a recordkeeping and planning tool. It is not a tax preparation service, accounting service, law firm, financial adviser, government agency, or payment processor. The app does not file tax returns or make tax payments for you.

Tax-savings targets, mileage deductions, deadlines, and other calculations shown by the app are estimates and general information. Tax rules and individual circumstances vary. You are responsible for verifying your records, deadlines, deductions, and obligations and for consulting a qualified tax, legal, or accounting professional when appropriate.

Your records and responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of information you enter, for maintaining appropriate backups, and for protecting access to your device and Google account. Review exported records before relying on them or providing them to a tax professional.

Google and external services

Optional Google Sheets and Google Drive features are governed by Google’s terms and policies. Official tax-payment links open third-party government websites. WalkTeaming LLC does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, content, security, or transactions.

Acceptable use

You may use the app for lawful personal and business recordkeeping. You may not misuse the app, attempt to interfere with its operation, reverse engineer it except where applicable law permits, or use it to violate the rights of others.

Ownership

Tech Tax Helper, its design, software, branding, and original content are owned by WalkTeaming LLC or its licensors. Your work records and files remain yours.

Availability and changes

We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee that the app or any external service will always be available or error-free.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WalkTeaming LLC and its members, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost savings, missed deductions or deadlines, tax penalties, or loss of data arising from use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the app during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction in Colorado unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. The current version and effective date will be posted on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
